libkate1-dbg software package provides Codec for karaoke and text encapsulation for Ogg (dbg), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkate1-dbg
libkate1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkate1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkate1-dbg *
You will get with libkate1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
